Kenneth Hemmerick is a published author. He has written articles for a variety of publications, including The Guardian Weekly, The Vancouver Province, Lonergan Review, Who's Who in Black Canada, IsraFax, WhiteWreath, ANIMA, BC Teachers Federation, EzineArticles.com, Wisdomebooks.com, ArticleWheel.com and others.

He was the editor of the 250-page Anthology of Humane Education, a curriculum that was delivered to all elementary schools in British Columbia. In addition, he created and edited the newsletters "ANIMA" and "ArtsNDG Byline." He currently edits The Lifeline Newsletter for Project Pride.

As a Web editor for LookSmart, he researched and wrote reviews for over 30,000 websites, earning two merit awards for outstanding achievement.

Kenneth also has written copy for many direct mail and fund-raising campaigns that have brought in more than $2 million in donations. In addition, he penned the copy for 30 radio PSAs (Public Service Announcements) for the BCSPCA which were aired throughout Canada. He also wrote a number of free commercials for BCTV.

Hemmerick scripted his epic video poem "Sometimes," (featured on the CBC's ZED TV) and developed the foundation text for the CBC 13-week series called "Pets Please."
